Yah, there is a bit more swearing. And some of the characters seem a bit older I guess.
I never really watched the older ones(english or japanese), but I really like watching the MFB subs! I'm sure that when it comes to the US though, the voices and words will be changed, making it seem less "mature"
Like with Naruto: Shippuden. In the japanese, it was almost like bleach(jap) with tons of swearing... now since its on Disney, they can't even say the word "kill"...

Re: Metal Fight Beyblade
lol your referring to the ryuuga vs ginga ep right? Japanese people don't really use swear words, actually a lot of my japanese friends (straight from Japan) say that there aren't any words like the F word or sh1+ in their language and that kusoクッソ isn't a bad word just that its an informal word. I think MFB more focuses on the characters rather than the actual beyblading sport like Bakuten Shoot did.

how old are the characters in general?
Re: Metal Fight Beyblade
im pretty sure ginga's supposed to be like 15 or something benkei's probably older. but all around their mid teens? maybe except for kenta who looks like he could be 11 lol
Re: Metal Fight Beyblade
cor ! cos they all swear more than me lmaoo :L thats bad english subbing lmao, could of called someone an idiot?
Re: Metal Fight Beyblade
Well, the subs are just translating, and removing anything that may be too engrish-y (well, besides "Go shoot!", of course). So like SaMaster said, even though the beyblade anime is aimed at children, there is still a fair amount of swearing.MortalNerd wrote: cor ! cos they all swear more than me lmaoo :L thats bad english subbing lmao, could of called someone an idiot?

Re: Metal Fight Beyblade
Ginga is apparently 12. Kyouya, 13. Benkei 13. Madoka 12 and Kenta 10. Though they seem a lot older.

Re: Metal Fight Beyblade
I got this from Beyblade Spirit... It might be from the Manga, sometimes the ages are different between the Manga and the Anime. I'm not to sure anymore, haha.

I haven't read the manga yet, so there isn't really a point in posting here...
Re: Metal Fight Beyblade
What do you mean? I don't know if it is there age on the manga or the Anime.

Re: Metal Fight Beyblade
I think he's referring to how you sort of referred to the manga when we have a manga section too.. But I don't see anything wrong with your post haha.
