Are clay wheels useless?
Light wheels?
Well, I'm sure that everyone does not use them often or even consider using them but I wonder, when they start up in America will clay wheels get their own league? In Yu-Gi-Oh there is advanced and traditional, one for serious players and one for fun, maybe Beyblade too?
This is a half-baked idea but I stand by it. Clay wheels get too little attention! Thoughts? Maybe think of a name if they go into this direction?
Clay league?
Metal league?
EDIT:
Light Weight League
Heavy Weight League

Re: Light wheels?
I think itd be better if you refer to Light Wheels in general. but Light Wheels are essentially all useless... they hardly spin for over 20 seconds on their own. and they dont put up a good fight against any MFBs but instead get pushed around which defeats the purpose of clay being a defense wheel. which is why they get little attention.
but if id ever think of a league for this, i'd be like a pre-school beyblade league xD BEYBLADES FOR PRESCHOOLERS!!

Re: Light wheels?
Perfect! We'll get them when they're young! ... That sounded better in my mind but they are coming out with heavier tracks right? GB145 and M145 I hear are quite heavy for tracks but then again those are 145. If they produced 105 with decent weight then even ATK-rings in the metal-league with get an added boost.
EDIT: Light wheels are only DEF-rings? D:

Re: Light wheels?
well honestly, i think they all perform the same way >_>... i only have wind and clay but. they both pretty much act ridiculously poorly
edit: actually wind has better balance than clay

Re: Light wheels?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the three light wheels out right now are Mad (light version of Dark), Wind (light ver. of Storm) and Clay, the light version of Rock. I am still curious as to how these would perform with Metal Faces and heavier tracks like C145.

theres also a light version of the libra wheel

Wow... that sounds interesting. Anyways, I think that a Light division would actually be pretty cool ; DHeartof4Lion wrote:Darkmega354 wrote:Yeah, I'm pretty sure the three light wheels out right now are Mad (light version of Dark), Wind (light ver. of Storm) and Clay, the light version of Rock. Re: Light wheels?
I hope they don't even release them. But if they did, I would imagine they would have two different leagues. If Hasbro hosts a tournament and allows light wheels and the metal ones ... then they've clearly lost it.

lol yeah that would be a bad idea. but I'm assuming that Hasbro will put up the beyblades in the random boosters in their own boosters like they did before. So, if they do release Light Wheels I'd imagine it'd only be Wind Aquario and Clay Aries or even just give them a metal wheel to keep everything in the same league
Re: Light wheels?
The wheels themselves are kinda bad... but some of the parts(tracks/bottoms) that come in the light wheel boosters are good.
Also, its not only clay...
Clay=rock
wind=storm
mad=dark
heat=flame(kinda).
etc...
There are some differences, but they are pretty close

Re: Light wheels?
the only light wheel that hasnt evolved into a metal wheel is probably the one shaped after the libra wheel
